alien이란 말을 들을 때마다 너무 심한 느낌이겠네요.

If you put 짱 on the end of a word, that means that the person is excellent at the preceding word, they are a true master at that thing.

e.g. 글짱 somebody who is truly excellent at writing

don't know exactly what this is called. It means you reap what you sow. literally, if you plant beans you will get bean plants, if you plant (?) you will get (?). Sorry, not sure what 밭 is here, Yes, I did look on naver but it still only gives the single definition of FIELD.

미처 means 그 만큼이라도 없다. 어떤 한계를 미치지 않다. 하고, 아직. 아마, 그런 시간조차도 없다도 가능한 것 같아요.

Here is an example.

미처 피할 사이도 없이 자동차와 부딪쳤다.

미처 usually mens up until that time (아직 + 부정사)but it doesn‘t work like that here, where it means not so far as, not even so much as.
So, the above means

here, not even so much as a single crack was left between me and that car, so we collided.

I just recently ran into two examples of 이맘 때 which is a new expression for me.

  1. 제가 참석한 용달과 배댈에 관련한 글 하나가 o http://www.koreanclass101.com 있습니다. 거기 내에서 manyakumi님이 삼륜차를 설명하는 데 링크 (to naver blog with example) 하나 올랐는데 거기에 삼륜차 사진이 포함한 폐이지 속에 이 다음 문장이 나와요 매년 이맘 때 쯤이면

I think I've answered a recurring question I've had for a long time. What is different between (a) and (b) below:

  1. with ㄴ

    • 오늘 눈이 온다기에

    • 취직을 한다기에
    • 잘 하시면서 못한다고 하세요. You pretend as if you don't speak Korean but you really do speak it well.
  2. without ㄴ
    • 일이 많다기에

For the entry 다기에 means using what was reported as a reason for something (I left off the reason, it is besides the point here).

Conclusion: ㄴ다고 works with action verbs (a), but not with adjectives (b).
